I would like to thank the almighty first and foremost, for blessing me with this beautiful voice and a magnificent and undeniable talent to educate, comfort and to celebrate the upliftment of our young people, women and children. Also to encourage togetherness among our nations, and most importantly to celebrate life and all its beauties. Lullaby aka Ainsley Walcott Jamaican born , started His singing career at the tender age of five years old. Lullaby is originally from whats known in Jamaica as the Cockpit Country. As a youngster, Lullaby was always fascinated by all types of music and developed an early love for it. Singing in Sunday school and on the church youth choir has helped to shape Lullaby as an singer/ entertainer even at an early age. Lullaby wrote his first original song at age thirteen and has written many songs for himself and other artists. As a teen Lullaby toured the dance halls performing on sound systems like Black Kat, Bass Odyssey, Silver Hawk, Body Gard, Metro Media, Stone Love and many more! After completing High school, Lullaby move to Kingston to further explore his musical endeavors. While living in Kingston he recorded countless amount of Dob-plate specials for a number of sound systems while hanging out at the various studios like Black Scorpio, Mixing Lab, record Factory etc. In 1998 Lullaby migrated to the United States Of America and settled in Elmont Long Island, New York and continued to pursue His career in music by writing, producing and recording himself. His first released single "News For You" was number one on the INDIE-MUSIC.COM Charts for a month long. It also got hits and visits on myspace and many other social network sites where independent artist can showcase themselves and their music and also keep in-touch with his fans. Lullaby continued writing, producing, recording and later formed his own record label (Lullaby Records) and has released his first official album in 2007. The album was remixed and relaunched in 2008. Inspired by THE LATE GREAT BOB MARLEY , Jamaican singing sensation Sanchez, Beres Hammond, Garnette Silk, Denise Brown, Shaggy, Peter Tosh, John Holt, Jacob Miler and many other outstanding influential artists. Lullaby has displayed the energetic enthusiasm to make it to the top, the highest of heights in the music biz. He is considered by many as one of the best up and coming to bless the stage. He as being compared to the likes Beres Hammond, Reggae singer Sanchez and Garnette Silk. With his smooth sounds and unique style he as gained much popularity locally, nationwide and worldwide. Lullaby has also toured all over the east coast and central in-lands USA, with some of reggae's best. He has performed alongside the likes of Leroy Sibbles, Everton Blender, Sugar Minott, just to name a few. In the year 2007 Lullaby was placed second in the New York Reggae Rising stars competition, (a Ken Williams WVIP radio production). When asked who are some of his mentors past and present in the music biz, Lullaby replied! "Every artist, because I can learn something from each of them. I try not to make some of the mistakes some ARTISTS made and I learn from the ones who strive for success and MOST IMPORTANTLY; do the right thing".
